A Place

I have found a place
where color holds my gaze
and hands to me a moment
that never truly was

And yet I choose to embrace
the colors in this moment
although not truth
they delight me none the less.

for the world I hold before me
requires of me no real limit
leaving me to slip in and around
all dimension that might please me

thinking that might make sense.

Enhanced photographs of reflections in water.

On My Knees

I fall to my knees
to know closely the earth,
to gaze into the grass,
deeper into the soil.
I find myself there;
I am of this earth.
The lines of every root
every stem, twig,
or edge of a leaf
are continued
within me,
and I know
I am continued
in them as well.
when I raise my head
to the sky,
I draw the lines
into the heavens,
outline the clouds
connect the stars;
the rays of all the suns
reach down to connect
to me.
On my knees
I humble myself
to be with,
to always strive to be a part
of all the lines,
of the drawing
of creation.

Moment # 17

Dream Quickly the Night is Lost

Photograph of a blanket, a blurred blanket. A still camera triggered while in motion. I love doing this. Every time I do it I hear this voice somewhere in time saying "no, hold it still or you will make it blurry". I'm okay with that.

wake up...

I wake up
step into a motion
there is no clarity
I am putting it together
as quickly
as it comes undone
I am good
with not understanding
I have practiced the state
for all the time
I've known life
I've not uncoverd the why
so I keep on working
the doing
and all its
motion
got good
at being in the motion
good with being
a drip
a blob
a swirl
finding my being
in there
way in there
willing to be
every part
at any given moment
this is where
I
wake up
wake up
wake...

One of my paintings photographed and computer enhanced. Below is the same painting enhanced in several different ways, I lost track of which is the original. Think it is the gray one at the bottom, I will need to find it out in the garage to make sure.
